Well I have recieved responses from hornby and from the rail doc. Both said that new dcc decoders will not work in conjuction with the zero 1 master controller. :( Well at least i have a layout now :lol: It needs to be finished though, just track nailed to a 4x8 at the moment. the picture shown in the link is a near match accept for the optional slave throttle controller, i believe that was there idea of an add on. I hope there is a decoder that would work because I dont feel like spending a lot of money at this moment due to lack there of. I found a little of everything ...

you lost me now what? Carrier control? it has a keyboard for addressing locos, and some inertia buttons. Would this work with any newer decoders

I did a little research, it was the grandfather of dcc. The controller can control 16 locomotives, there are decoders or chipsets out there but im not sure they would fit in an ho loco.Hornsby is a maker of OO trains. and I found out it pushes out 18v a.c. to the track. And pulsed dc to accessories....

actually most of the train looke like the photo the rest were empty flats or loaded cars with containers. Same container chassis though.

I agree, what threw me for a loop was the ground had no grass growing not even a stray weed, the dirt looked fresh, and the wires were still exposed. How old is the signal on silver street? It is starting to show its age.

I mapquested it 350 south it is, I am suprised if it has been gone for years because the dirt looked freshly moved and the exposed conduit piping was still in good condition.

I have no idea, im kinda like ray charles driving an 18 wheeler at night. :lol: My sense of direction is as good as my walking abilities. Hense the wheelchair :lol: All I know is that it is about a mile south of the anique mall of hoosier highway. and the road t's from hoosier highway.
