I can understand why rail crews dont like these trucks, I like the idea of a truck with that much potential. I would like to think that it is a little safer to. The truck cannot go as fast as a normal train, and hopefully could stop as fast or faster than the average train, and really the only thing...

Monday night crew change?

There is a north bound train parked @ mile marker 161 signal up agianst silver street in bluffton. The train scared the living daylights out of me, the trees covered the lights, yet I am one of the few people who stops at every crossing*, so as I neared the crossing I spotted it right beside me. :sh...

Also most of what they purchase is beat up old union pacific trucks, they had bought 3 tie handlers with a magnet attachment and only 1 has been sold I think. I did like those trucks. He also had two ford f650 that were ex wisconsin central. Now painted white with dual wheel simulators.

http://roadrail.brandt.ca/video.php Probably the wildest railroad trucks I have ever seen. If I had the money I would buy a truck in a split second.

I miss the booth that Operation Lifesaver used to have at the Bluffton Street fair, They need to be more out in the mainstream, more commercials, I dont want to put the fear into people, I just want them to respect what there trying to beat and maybe they wont try to race or beat the train. I will a...

I read that itm received money for trips through hamilton county, I admire the achievement of the museum. I also think it would be great if they had an enclosed shop or display building. I wish it was more known, the only time you hear about the fair train for instance is when there is a collision b...
