I know most shortlines are broke but how could you afford not to take care of the tracks, mowing trees is one thing but letting the ties turn to 1 inch splinters is another. I know at the moment wabash moves nothing hazardous but if they do how safe are the ties in place?

shortline ties that fits wabash central to a t or to a tie what ever you prefer :) The crossing is so bad in liberty center on old 303 that when the train goes through it cuts through roughly 2 inches of dirt. The train runs on faith, faith that it will stay on the tracks.

I was fortunate enough to have a cab ride in one of the f7 before they pulled them from service, by luck I was able to ride the f unit I believe it was the week of the fairtrain when the steam engine broke a rod or piston. It was a great day for me I was only 10 or so.

Did indiana transportation museum get rid of the pair of f units they had always used. I haven't seen the photos on there website nor do they mention them in there roster, actually they don't mention a lot of equipment they have in their roster. Are they gone and where did they go.

I had seen them on the ncd around 3 to 4 years ago. I was going to and from montpelier on a daily basis and would catch them on hoosier highway. I thought they quit doing that, since I havent seen them in so long.
