I would be glad maybe they would clear my street when they go to leave. I get your point but corning glass has been shut down, and the rails aren't very healthy, and lord knows paytons wont use it. I believe if wabash were to purchase that It would help them tremendously especially when buckho...

I apparently am one of the few who want to model norfolk and the boring land, that is when I get the money to, I suffer from a wine taste and beer money mentallity. And we do have some rolling hills, trust me I know, yet the flatter the layout the cheaper the plaster and foam.

corning glass/ paytons

it seems that wabash central has read my mind, A week ago I noticed a large string of cars parked on the old corning glass siding. If there wasnt an abandoned hopper already in its way I bet they could pack 50 or more cars on one siding. I looked on google earth and there are two sidings at corning,...

norfolk southern

why are there so few norfolk southern ho scale products, I see more conrail and csx than norfolk let alone all union pacific models. now some companies have locos to offer but they arent very detailed, and there isnt the greatest selection of rolling stock.

is there a difference between storage and abandonment. And if norfolk uses the caboose as a push platform I think wabash central should do the same. yet they now have landlocked there caboose.

as I typed before the right most track served as a siding for sterling casting. They delivered steel and coke on the siding this ended late eighties early 90's They switched to trucks for supplies becasue they were cheaper.

there was another siding serving sterling casting, coke and iron were delivered by rail until about the early nineties, ever since trucks would deliver everything, norfolk southerns technicians should know about every two weeks a truck would run over the crossing gate and bucks. This occured until t...

great idea

I have a great trip idea for 765, due to indiana transportations muesem lossof there steam engine, okay not a loss but it cannot be run until updated to new standards, 765 could do the fair train. A week long of steam, yes it would be a short trip to the fair from fishers but at least thousands of p...
