Ive seen the plow near the turntable in East Wayne Yards. My question is what would make them bring that out of static display. Is it even road worthy?

They have been plenty busy, last year they even upgraded the yard. New track new ties new ballast. They still serve van buren warren bluffton and craigville. last august they had almost 3 trains a week going to craigville.

SO was the unit sold, because I dont think it ever ran, it sat for atleast a year.

Yes i have heard #6 before any repairs, it was pulling a string to Craigville, and sounded like it was down 3 or 4 cylinders. So all that is needed is written authority to scrap railroad property excluding ties and ballast? Now if its on a business property do you have to have both the railroad and the companies written permission?

So another two months or so and the ethanol plant has had there alco for a year and hasnt used it or moved it. I wonder if the engine defective?

scrap question

So I heard the other day that someone near wells co scrapped railroad rail and then was investigated by the feds. now arent you supposed to have a licence to scrap rails tie plates and spikes?
