I was told it was infact the NKP being senior, and Wabash being junior, thus the wabash interlocking signals.
That being said, I never have seen construction dates to back this up.

Interesting for sure.

The issue at Muncie tends to be train handling. The curve isn't to bad.
We use to stop the 444 right at Gavin in that curve and couple back up with no issues. If you keep a train rolling and plan ahead that curve isn't bad.

Re: TOFC/COFC

Another possibility is if NS could get trackage rights on CKIN, and run N out of Thomaston. They could put the diamond back in at Wellsboro, and the PM line back in to LaPort to their new facility. Hate to say it, but PIPEDREAM Figure it would be easier just to take them off the NKP and add them to...

Its straight as a string at this location. The signal for the approach is at 113.1 which is Oakville. If the 230 was hanging out at the east end of noell, then the signal at 113 would have been restricting. He would have ran about 2 miles on this signal, passing the small town of Cowan. Possible he ...

Your going to see alot of these smaller ethanol plants fall to the side quickly. The larger ones will stay around and work fine. What is funny is their locations and if it is the case, what this will do to grain shipments to outbound ports. One has to wonder if the traffic being added by the ethanol...

Ethanol plant for Muncie (Shidler)

Not a shocker, will be located south of Shidler proper, and from what has been said locally, it will be more toward County Road 700, so a mile south of Shidler. Nothing said firm, but it looks like rail will be used. Don't know if they will tie in with Shidler Grain, or not. http://www.thestarpress....

Molly is in fact a little station stop at the current east end of Montpelier siding. It once housed a grociery, small school, interurban house, and church. The only thing left is the school house. This was from my grandfather, who grew up in the area. I'll have to ask him about the tower. As he rode...

Thanks for posting those photos JETT. I had the chance to pull one of those out of the Westinghouse plant. I also pulled the last transformer out of that plant then owned by ABB on the L82. Sad to see that big plant empty.
