I use him for almost everything I order via Walthers. If I order something Monday morning, its setting at my door by Thursday.
Never once had an issue with them.
I have never been to his store front though.

Nice to see they chose where they did. Although I know many other places wanted it.

before a change in leadership, the L80 use to be based out of East Wayne and worked to Muncie (normally Montpelier siding) and turned back. When business got better, they added in a L88, a relief job for the L80 and it turned back. Now they have changed things and L68/69 work the line, based out of ...

Train derailed right on Gavin St, actually more on the switch there, right at the start of the curve at Bath and Muncie East Yard. From the looks of it, the curve had little to do with it, since the cars fell toward the nursing home. If it was string lining, like the Triple Crown and 444 derailments...

I have a tape made in April of 1993 that shows the old C-O being removed north and south of Muncie. Pretty sad to see but it is interesting. remember.. They started with the segment from Santa Fe to Amboy in the fall of 1992. The winter hit them just south of Fowlerton and slowed them drasticly. Th...

The line was posted from High St. in downtown Columbus Ohio.
Hard to believe but until the late 80's there was still a passing siding at Upland! It was finally removed from service when Conrail cut the last pool off the line.

Lets see, from Anoka (southeast of Logansport) the line is gone to Marion's west side (just west of Goodman Yard) along SR 18. The line is in and used from Marion's west side to Hartford City's west side, then abandoned in place from Hartford City at SR26 to the west side of Dunkirk. From Redkey eas...

Thanks for the wealth of infrormation! :) You say they service that track from Muncie? Interesting. I've not been there, but I have 3 different maps (one a DeLorme) that all show that line severed near the Hwy 3 bypass. Your explanation makes more sense, but just based on what the maps seemed to be...

If there was ever a wye on the southeastern side of the PRR/LE&W at Hartford City, pretty much all traces of it are obliterated today, there's no evidence of it and I have to wonder if it was ever there. Are you sure the ethanol plant is going to be built at Hartford City rather than Dunkirk, I tho...

Well, the line is "abandoned" east of Hartford City (SR 26 actually) to a point just west of Dunkirk. Its currently a "rails in place abandonment" The L83 serves the Panhandle from Muncie via the LE&W around the new connection at Redkey (they removed the old one and diamond also). They still service...
