Re: Claypool Northeast connector work.

AT&T has already moved an underground box of some kind that would have been under the track. Looks like 3 or 4 houses to come down along with some other empty buildings.

Re: Caboose @ Kruse Auction Park

The GTW caboose is now resting comfortably at the Hoosier Valley RR Museum at North Judson. Number is 75072, it was trucked to the museum about two years ago.

A maintenance of way supervisor once told me the same thing. Money was siphoned off to the Louisiana Midland.
He's a link that maybe of interest. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/E ... d=39578708

I have a couple of photos that I shot on May 3, 1963 and the coal dock was there at that time, but no water tower shows. One of the photos is an over view taken from the intersection of Nelson and Hartzel roads. Was the water tower visible from there?

I was at Craig’s presentation today and it was very enjoyable. Craig should be commended for preserving the history of the little known lines. Thanks Craig.

It maybe the same type of train that I saw about a month ago on the Chivago District. I didn't write the number down, but I believe it was O99, it was all new coal gons for a rotary dumper heading west. Can't remember the reporting marks, but they were in group number wise.

Thanks Ed, That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. I did see the 324 at Burr Oak last night about 8:45, 323 went east later.

NKPSOUTHERN, As far as I know the 323 has always been a turn (Ft. Wayne-Van Loon-Ft. Wayne).

Is the 324 the eastbound counter part of 365? If not where does he originate?
