Mark

Hey Markedup, did you get to the meeting yesterday? If so, was Richard there? Didn't make it myself, had other issues.

EL

If you listen quietly at the 300S crossing. you can still hear the ole EL train blow. (In Wells Co. they say that "strange things" happen!)

Jax line

Welcome to the Ft. Wayne board, Jason! I wondered when you would get to our neck of the woods. Let us know how the open house goes in ole NJ. The line to Auburn is the Ft. Wayne and Jackson line ot the NYC. Not quite as interesting as the 3I in your area. BTW, are the panhandle tracks still down in ...

NW Ohio events

Maybe "slo-approach-slo" Cass T. can provide more details for us C.B., and let's don't forget to remind everyone that the Wabash H.S. convention will be at the Sauder Village @Archibold this Sept. also. Maybe "2800" can give us more details on the meeting if he is still out there alive and well. Tha...

Tender Mishap

Anyone know anything about the little derailment on Sat. morning? Was the tender damaged at all? Seems like things went okay after the little incident. Everything looked okay when we went by in the evening.

Open House

Crowd was rather thin Saturday night. 765 was steamin' nicely, but we didn't get to see her move. Lots of smoke over Jefferson Pk last night. Too soon it will all be over.

Global III

Thanks Micheal. I probably will not venture out there. Let us know if you hear any more about the BNSF expansion. I've heard that the trend is to get the T.T. yards out of Chicago, neighbors don't like the noise.

Omni power

Hey Markedup, be careful that they don't see you when you prowl around the scrapyard. They might just take you on as their part-time "junk yard dog". (Bark loud enough, and they'll give you a free ride on the switcher.)
