But, we might be looking West along the belt on Pontiac St.I just can't place that big white house or the large building looming in the background. Ar...

Re: Platform walkway at N. End of Fulton?
Sherman Street is part of the Lincoln Hwy, don't know if it was during the Fort Wayne Jackson era. Also, here is a pic I found on the ACPL site. It is listed as the Sherman Street underpass but is obviously different then the one previously posted. Does anyone know where this bridge could be? http:...

NS Fostoria sub blocked this evening
And, here is why: http://www.limaohio.com/news/local_news/article_85b77c50-c8d0-11e2-ac44-0019bb30f31a.html Train hit truck. I heard the dispatcher tell an Eastbound train out of New Haven,Indiana at 9:30P.M. that every siding to Leipsic was full. I wonder how this will effect the 765 run home tomor...

Re: NS OCS in Fort Wayne
Just curious about the operation of the office car special locomotive(s). When they come through an area such as this, do they pick up engineers from the local district to operate the train, or do they have dedicated crews that are permitted to operate anywhere the OCS goes? Last year I met the eng...

Re: PRR MILEPOST
Hey Ken,that was Craig's description. Your milepost came from Ohio. The 320 post was south of the tracks at the Baker St. station. It disappeared sometime after the line was single tracked. It was replaced with a modern " road sign" post. I wonder who took it and who has the post. Thanks for the pho...

PRR MILEPOST
"If the posts are triangular, about 12 in. on each side and stand about 4 ft. tall, they are mileposts or whistle posts."
Said Craig Berndt in the GR&I post.
I wonder who got the MP320 on the Fort Wayne Line.
Thanks
Mark
