hmmm, I didn't hear any sirens this morning. I don't see anything either, though there are covered hoppers on the North loop blocking my view

Wells County Voice is reporting that something malfunctioned in an grain auger and created a smoldering fire.

Are the locals L68/L69 stopping to work at the ethanol plant?

I haven't seen steam out of the stack since the second week of Sept and very little movement in the yard.

It may have to do with the construction going on, about 2 weeks ago most of the rolling stock were moved to Wabash Central while they added what seemed to be drainage pipes to green plains rail yard.

The stack at the ethanol plant has been quiet for a long time. Yesterday, there was a plume again.
The South loops have been empty for a while and I haven't seen any movement on the North loop tracks for a while.
