Here's the place to just kick back and discuss pretty much anything under the sun.

Maybe of interest (3).

Information gleaned from Jan 1897 Rand McNally railway guide.
Nickle Plate. (Fort Wayne)
The book is fragile and has been mistreated by past owners, missing pages.
However I was able to scan the following.

Very interesting!!

Appears as though the boundary between Eastern and Central time zones was over in the Buffalo (this schedule) and Pittsbugh (PRR schedule) area back in the day? Wish it was still there.

I wonder how reliable the connections were between NKP and the eastern roads to continue on to NYC and Boston?

Just to provide perspective on the "time zones" observation, following is a map of the time zone boundaries in 1913.
