Harvest is on, corn is gone , and I can see the Fostoria again. BTW, happy All Saints Day to all of you! If anything happens. I'll be right on top of it. The Fostoria is as busy as ever. 2 b-to-b unit racks came through this afternoon in less than 15 minutes. Too bad the days are so short now.

I don't have that problem with the New Castle District.

I just have to switch windows depending upon what's growing.

Operations have been slo on the Fostoria this week so far. Anyone know why-does this have to do w/the bad wx in Ill. this weekend? Traffic is even down from E to W also. (M.M., are you aware that Rochelle got over a foot of snow this past weekend???)

I was up late last night, or early this morning.
I heard a Eastbound TC 2-- go into siding for
three Westbounds, 145 , 307 , and TC 2--.

That can't be the same 145 I heard going by Mardenis at 0730 this morning, can it?

Things slo again today. Very little running Ebound. I'm sure the blizzard in NW part of state is a contributing factor.

TC? When I first read that, I thought I'd gone into a timewarp but immediately realized you meant Triple Crown, not TC-2 or TC-4, TC-1, or TC-3, the old trains out of Bellevue toward Decatur, IL, that ran across there thirty years ago on the N&W.

Careful Wayne, some here might start thinking you're some kind of old-timer with confessions like that.

No see Fostoria today-all a grey blurr. If this rain keeps up in E.Allen Co.today, the 765 Santa train will be floating like the 1225 in the Polar Express movie. (Oh well, better than the white stuff!)

NEVER! You can shoot in the snow whether it's falling, or has fallen and is now sunny. Rain just makes for crappy railfanning. Not to mention it's a lot more "fun" driving in the snow than in the rain.

I'm headed down that path, that's for sure. Why, I can remember when they occasionally ran a ATC-3, A standing for Advanced.
