Slide Show?
Is anyone here up to a slide show this winter? Last week I bought a 5000 slide collection & projector. These slides are from the 1960s to 2000 and from all over the USA. I plan on setting up the projector in the week/two & thought maybe other people might want to show theirs.

Re: Slide Show?
5,000 huh?? For every second that you display each slide takes 1.38 hours not including loading/unloading. So if you displayed each for only 2 seconds each, it will take around 2 hours and 45 minutes. Are you planning on serving dinner?

Re: Slide Show?
I did not plan on showing all 5000 at one time. but a reel or two. I know with a collection like Jett he certainly could have a few also. Being cold outside this would be a great time for another get together & could plan a potluck also durring a slide show presentation
Re: Slide Show?
I would like to see some of your New Collection Mike. Maybe we can work something out after the new year. I have had three shows since November 21st. and one more to do Jan. 8th. Kinda burnt out at the moment.

Darn it Mike wrong time again. After we get home in May I'll break out my 1000 plus slides of the tri state railroads of the 60s and 70s. I worked PRR from Chicago to Crestline out of the Fort and the camera was very active.

Re: Slide Show?
If anyone is looking for any certain RR let me know. I have been sorting these & decided to sell off half of this collection and keep what I was looking for. I have a lot from 1950's to 2000 with many RRs and shortlines also 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 in black and white negatives of railroads from the indiana/ Illinois area.
