AKA, the indiana board, for the most part.
I, for one, prefer to keep this board the way it is-a factual discussion on local rrding.

Re: Website Chat Page

I curious about your Indiana board comment?
Considering it has a core group that gets info out. Sure you have a few fools, but hell this board does too!
As they say if you don't like it don't visit, but I'd say it must be doing pretty well considering how busy the site stays and how much current stuff gets posted.
In other words, no one asked for your input on it.... Sorry DL, but that was a WORTHLESS POTSHOT.

CIOR, I AGREE WITH YOUR POST.
Re: Website Chat Page
I'm on it on a daily basis, and I stand by my comments.

Re: Website Chat Page
I just recently joined railroadfan.com mainly to advertise my RBQ in Elkhart on July 9th this year and I use it the same way I use this board - read the posted threads and make comments when I feel like it. Beyond that, I don't have any complaints with it so far.

What changed? Heck there is more info on there now and more members that post than ever. Info comes onto the board and is pretty accurate.D.L. wrote:I'm on it on a daily basis, and I stand by my comments.

With the exception of a few members (of whom if you spend any time on there) you will know who to trust and not to trust. Just like any forum.
I'll stand by my comment....worthless potshot.
It can't be to bad you are on it on a daily basis as you say....hmmmm

Yes, what has changed?
I'm intrigued as to what you want to see. I'll see what I can do to help things.
Oh, and as for the chat page, I did try it for a short time on the INDRR site many years ago. It was a bust since people wanted to read things on their own time, not sort through a bunch of chat messages. Those who know each other will talk outside the chat/forum anyway, so it didn't really bring anything useful. Not saying it wouldn't work here, given the different demographics, but just relating my experience.
