The Fort Wayne Railfan

I have wanted a fence around the old barn on the AMV. Now that soon to be 3 year old Mati seems to have lost interest in rearranging the layout I finally made one. Long ago I had purchased a picket fence set. I was really never fond of it so decided to make my own. I cut some balsa into thin strips and since I have a foam base I glued straight pins on the ends for mounting. Don't cut your strips to small; makes them difficult to work with. After gluing you can use some small scissors to even things out. After assembly I made some really thin black paint for a stain. I wanted to make some railing look broken but was afraid it would weaken the structure so left thing alone.

Agreed, nice job on the fence Bob. From the looks of the barn you need a good fence to keep people away from it to help avoid a lawsuit when that thing caves in.
