Governor Daniels Visits HVRM

Governor Mitch Daniels visited the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum today. We picked him up along the old Erie line and he actually got to operate the locomotive for awhile! He presented a check to the trail group that is building a trail next to the old Erie. In the photo is HVRM member Fred Boyer talking with Mitch at the rest park east of North Judson.

P.S. Hope he also visited Kerstings' Cycle Shop too-if so, cuz Jimmy K. will be even more famous in those parts!
