Baldwin @ Waterloo

For anyone who hasn't seen. The baldwin switcher has been disected into many pieces this past week. Its carcass is sitting on the Westend on the Bungee siding. Numerous flat beds this past week took parts and went east. The first truck left Wednesday with the radiator and body parts & friday was the engine and more body parts. Not for sure if the switcher will be lifted onto a flatbed and going east or will be torched

I have been going by there on my train, this morning I was on 23z westbound and noticed there is not much left of it at all. The cab is pretty much gutted, I imagine by next week it will be completely gone. What a shame.

This afternoon most of the unit was gone except for the frame...glad I got shots of it when it was still around!
