Is this the before or the after? Have they replaced the rails yet, or are they preparing to replace them? I can't tell.

There is photo's of the old 85# rail, there is a photo of showing 85# on 1 side and 136# on the other side and there is a photo showing the 136#.. the 136# is 80' stick rail and the 85# is 40'
The photo's were taken 12/17

85 to 136 would be a major upgrade. You sure it isn't 115 to 136?

Positive.. and yes it is a major upgrade, I helped to facilitate a sale of several semi loads of 85# rail that was taken up when the Indiana Northeastern did their upgrade so the ND&W make repairs when they 1st took over.. I also sale rail and related hardware.

In the last couple years since Pioneer took over the line they have replaced a couple of road crossing and the rail in the crossing did get 115# rail otherwise everything on the line is/was 85#

So that photo was at a crossing, that explains what I was seeing.

You know your photos are good when nit-pickers can zoom in and read the manufacturer's marks on the web of the rail.
