The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum will be running a special excursion for the Hanna Sesquicentennial on August 9th between Hanna and Thomaston, Indiana (5 miles round trip) over former Pere Marquette trackage.

There will not be any train operations at the museum itself on that day. Visit http://hvrm.railfan.net for more details.

EL 310 with our cabooses and the open air car. We're suppose to leave early on Saturday morning and make the run up to Hanna. Not sure how it will take for us to get through the interlocking at Thomaston. This will be our first trip north of LaCrosse.

Yeh, I can just hear the NS Chicago District Dispatcher on the radio, "You're WHO at WHERE???" I hope someone has been talking with NS so it isn't a shock to their system. I have the dispatcher's direct line on my cell.
