Craig, you guys still in need in of local railroad items? I have some Penn Central station record of movement forms from Mike Tower during July 1973 and would be willing to loan one out to you for this event. Contact me off board at chowetrains@verizon.net if interested.

Where do you guys plan on having people park at? I remember the small lot next to the station not being very big.

A great crowd turned out this morning. I think that you can park across the street from the station, no one was having a problem finding parking spaces. AND YES, 765 is planning on going up to the Mich/fest this summer acc. to the FWRRHS guys! :P

The show this past weekend was oriented toward railroad enthusiasts and families, and we had more than 500 paid visitors, plus a jillion kids. Everything by our displayers was done professionally, from the model RRs to the scale trains (1/8 scale live steam PRR K-4 and ISC interurban combine, neither operating in the building of course), to the displays of actual RR equipment. We had a good number of experienced people on hand who could talk about all aspects of railroading. TRRRHC thanks everyone who helped.

We had coverage by two TV stations Sat. evening, and made the front page of the Journal-Gazette Mon. morning. All comments have been positive.

Putting this together was a phenomenal amount of work. Maybe again next year….

Thanks again, Craig for all you did. :)
BTW, Victor B. posted to the WRHS board that the New Haven depot restoration folks (newhavenheritage.org) who were in attendance need everyone's help in getting their restoration project going. If you are able to donate to them, please do so! TIA and long live the 5th district!
