I received a letter in the mail today from
Ed Melshen advising to publicize
the Lafayette Train Show: "Lafayette Model Railroad
and Railroad Artifacts sell and swap meet."
Last year they had all kinds of model related things
as well as pictures, slides, videos, books, timetables, etc.
It was a mix of both railroadiana and model railroading
as well as layouts on display.
It's set up for Saturday, April 12th, 2008, at
the Lafayette First Church of the Nazarene.
This is located right next to Meijer on
State Road 26 and I-65 (exit 172).
The address is 210 South 500 East, Lafayette, Indiana.
Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You would head east on 26 1/4 mile to the stoplight
at 500 east (east side of Meijer), then go south
1/8 mile to the church on the left/east side of the
road.
