Welded Rail

Post by RDJ » Sun Jan 03, 2016 5:25 pm

February 2016 issue of Trains mag has a good section on welded rail.
One of the articles features SDI welded rail mill and CF&E.
Interesting read.

I saw 3 empty rail trains at East Wayne today including 1 on the RIP track. About a month ago I saw an empty Ferromex rail train heading east on the Huntington district at Anthony. SDI must be busy

:D I worked there at the plant. Sometimes KB's boys are very busy-other times are so-so. Depends on the orders coming in.
Nice to see their product goes all over the U.S. on rail lines. BTW, thanks for the sightings report.
