Refueling at Garrett 11-23-2019

I am not sure how often locomotives are refueled at Garrett but this is
my second time photographing refueling.

It happens. Unit was needed before serving was completed; someone mis-read the fuel gage; fuel gage not working properly; it was “just enough”, but something happened to delay it en-route to the next service location, etc.

Brown & Sons is a regular at the Garrett Yard, They also re-fuel Amtrak when they still called a Crew Change Point.. Didn't Garret have an Amtrak Platform for a brief while ?
