Interurban Remains

Post by Howard » Mon Sep 28, 2015 8:57 pm

The substation/depot at US-27 and Hoagland Road has recently received new windows and paint. It looks much better than it has and should survive for a time, but still appears to be empty.

One of the two interurban shelters used as sheds on a farm on Wells CR-450E north of US-224 appears to have been removed this summer.

Correction:It appears likely the Interurban shelter is still there. It turns out that it is behind a shed and the when the corn is high, it cannot be seen from the angle needed to see behind the shed as can be seen in this photo taken in May,2005.
