Signals but No Track

The lights are on, but no trains are coming.....

Jim doesn't recall the location. Is it the B&O crossing at Avilla?

The locations of the pole lines look to be correct to be Avilla. Not much to go by, Photographer would be facing south

My only question is, aren't those NYC signals? If this was Avilla, wouldn't they be PRR signals, or were they chnged out sometime in the PC era?

Wow this is an easy one. Looking South this is where the Cincinnati Northern crossed the NKP at Latty,Ohio. I was born and raised about 7 miles South of here in Scott.

Thanks. We were way off!

I don't know if PC changed the signals on GR&I. Jim thought it was on GR&I, and Avilla was the only place that looked like this that I know of on GR&I.

It is a great shot, with signals lit and no track.

I'm not seeing the signals as "lit". The near facing signal appears totally black to me, and the far opposing signal appears to have daylight bleeding through two of the lenses. What am I missing?

Hotbox:

You aren't missing anything. The left signals are rear-lit and the track is gone.
