Here is the copy of the photo that I purchased and put in the Toledo & Chicago Interurban book. Southbound NYC #811 is a little clearer and it's dated Apr. 23, 1929.

ISC made two major improvements at Ft. Wayne in 1929: this underpass for access to its shops and powerhouse in the NW corner of Spy Run Ave. and Elizabeth St., and the bridge over State Blvd. NYC built its bridge over State at the same time, and that allowed State Blvd. at Cass St. to be connected to State at Westbrook.

The last of the shop buildings will be gone by next summer. The underpass is intact but filled in, behind the dealership that sells the white vans across Clinton from Science Central. The side walls parallel to the FW&J's track are still visible.

I thought northbound originally, but there were no buildings as large and close to the underpass on the west side as the building in the photo. The building looks like the telephone supply warehouse on the east side of Clinton, which was very close to the north side of the interurban side track as seen here.

If southbound, the building is a match and it could be a late-afternoon shot.

" the dealership that sells the white vans "

Before that it was the "Blue Moo".

Thanks Mark
