Kendallville IN Kraft Plant

Post by Notch 8 » Fri Dec 02, 2016 5:52 pm

I thought this would be a good place for these photo's so I asked Troy Strane the photographer of the attached photo's..

Copy & Pasted:

After my Kendallville Terminal post last night, I got to digging and scanning. These images show the same place about 35 years ago. Back then I would occasionally ride with the Conrail local out of Bryan. They switched Kraft Foods on the days work took them west. The photos show what was left of the GR&I. As you can see, the line was still intact heading south out of Kendallville. These pictures date back to around 1980.

Photo 4 definitely has changed, but what else has changed (besides the paint job)?
