Would someone please give a CURRANT report on this racktrain's origin, destination, and where it goes in between.
Thanks
Mark

I take it the fact he never got an answer shows how slow this forum is anymore. I confess, I only respond because I see his question was composed a year ago. Doesn't 288 run via the Dayton District anymore?

Re: NS 288
It appears on the NCD regularly, but not daily. I don't have access to NS schedules, so I can't say where it originates or terminates. I just see it head East at HUGO. Not much help, so I didn't respond earlier.
*fairly certain* it goes to the Fostoria Mixing Center on the Fostoria District.

Re: NS 288
I heard it on radio switching at East Wayne a few minutes ago.
Then they switched to hand signals. My original question stands.
Thanks

Re: NS 288
Yesterday 288 had a block of truck frames in the middle of the train. Is that what they were switching out in the fort?
