Toledo & Chicago Interurban Presentation

Post by cjberndt » Wed Nov 05, 2014 11:52 am

I'll make the Toledo & Chicago Interurban PowerPoint presentation next Monday evening. It will be 90 minutes or less, is free and open to the public.

This was the electric interurban railroad that ran north from Ft. Wayne through Huntertown to Garrett, then split west to Avilla and Kendallville and east to Auburn and Waterloo. It operated in whole or in part 1906-1945, and was one of the last interurbans operating in Indiana.

I am always looking for new information and photos of this rail line. If you have anything, please bring it and share with everyone.

Mon., Nov. 10
6:00 p.m. (probably start 6:30)
